In 1980, Irina Badayeva graduated from the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet (teacher T.A. Udalenkova) and was accepted to the Mariinsky Theatre. In 1997, she was awarded the L. Myasin Prize "For the Purity of Classical Dance" (Italy).
In 2001, she graduated with honors from the Vaganova Academy as "teacher-repetiteur" (teachers: I. Trofimova, N. Dudinskaya, N. Goncharova). Since 2007 - classical dance teacher at the Vaganova Academy.
The duet of Irina Badayeva and Feton Miozzi was called the "Porcelain Couple" by Russian and foreign critics.
Performed leading roles in the ballets: Giselle, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, Don Quixote, Harlequinade, Le Corsaire (Gulnare), La Fille Mal Garde, Coppélia, La Sylphide, Chopiniana (mazurka, 7th waltz). Concert repertoire: Diana and Actaeon, Butterfly, Carnival of Venice, Fairy Doll, Flower Festival in Genzano, The Vigilante Pas de Six, The Dying Swan, Grand Pas Classic to music by Ober, Ciaikovsky Pas de Deux, Sylvia (G.
