Student of the Vaganova Academy Summer Intensive by Russian Masters, St. Petersburg 2021
My name is Verónica, Giselle's mother, we are from Cuba and, for us, Russian ballet is the greatest reference in ballet. Being in this summer course at the Vaganova school has been incredible. Have the opportunity to receive classes from great masters, in salons that have been attended by great dancers such as Natalia Makarova, Svetlana Zajárova, Diana Vishneva, María Koreva, among others.
Share with other students from different countries and make life in the school residence as one more. The program they created for us, impressive: Museum visits, picnic on the beach, city walks with photo shoot, boat trip, final dinner on the boat, to see María Koreva, Kimi Kim, among others in the Marinsky, conversation with these two amazing dancers, and much more.
The truth is that they have exceeded all my expectations.
Even in times of Covid, they kept us safe complying with all the requirements and, even so, everything was perfect. Big thanks to everyone who made this dream possible: teachers, staff, organizers. Thanks to each and everyone. Our special thanks to Iván, Sophie and Ksenia for their great help.
