We are pleased to introduce our special guest, the star of the world ballet who will join us for our RMB winter intensive in Alicante on 2 - 8 January.
 
Meet Yolanda Correa @yolanda_correa_frias a dancer bubbling with energy and passion!
 
Yolanda Correa was born in Cuba, where she started her ballet training at the age of 9. She joined the National Ballet of Cuba and enjoyed a wonderful career performing in her home country. But Yolanda seems to be a type of dancer always looking for new challenges.
After 10 years with the company, she made a surprising decision to head to Europe to learn and push herself as a dancer She set off in search of new adventures.
In 2010–2018, she was a principal dancer with the Norwegian National Ballet in Oslo, since 2018 she has been a principal dancer of the Berlin State Ballet @staatsballettberlin
In 2012, she was named the “best female newcomer”. Today she is not a newcomer anymore: she has been a guest artist with many companies all around the world, getting all the loveliest compliments imaginable both from the public and the critics.

The New York Times claims that she has both the poise and the technique to carry off any virtuoso role and you’ll have a chance to join her masterclasses in Alicante.
