We introduce you Francesca Velicu to perform at the must have summer evening in Alicante.
Junior Soloist of the English National Ballet, former soloist of the Romanian National Opera and Ballet studied at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow. Following her two years of study in Russia, at the age of 17 she joined the Romanian National Opera and Ballet for one year. She is currently a Junior Soloist with English National Ballet.
Dancing there, Francesca has performed as Clara in the Nutcracker, an Odalisque in Le Corsaire, and in Liam Scarlett's No Man's Land. In 2017 she won an Olivier for Outstanding Achievement in Dance for her role as The Chosen One in Pina Bausch's The Rite of Spring. She is lively Kitri in Alexander Gorski's “Don Quijote”.
Interesting that she was chosen to be part of Forbes 30 Under 30 in 2019.
