Alexey Ilyin - RMB teacher

Alexey Ilyin, current professor at the Vaganova Academy, will teach in the Summer Intensive in Burgas and he also gives individual classes.

Alexey graduated from Perm State Choreographic School in 1985 (V.N. Tolstukhin's class).
He later entered the Gorki Opera and Ballet Theatre, named after Alexander Pushkin. He danced the entire theatre solo ballet repertoire. He was invited to Leningrad, to the Leonid Yakobson International Foundation - the Small Ballet of the Mariinsky Theatre. There Alexey danced lead roles in classical ballets and solo roles from the company’s repertoire directed by O.M. Vinogradov.
In the late 90s he entered the Russian Ballet Academy named after A. Ya.Vaganova at Faculty of Pedagogy (class of V.V. Rumyantseva). Throughout the training he taught classes and rehearsed parts for shows.

After graduating from the Academy, he worked as a choreographer at SABT Theatre and the South African Theatre Academy. Upon his return to Russia, he began teaching at the ARB in the Department of Classical Dance and Duo-Classical.
