Since its founding in 2014, RMB has become internationally recognized for its intensive classical ballet programs, bringing together experienced teachers, ballet masters and professional artists in structured training environments for young dancers. Through its courses in Europe and beyond, RMB supports students’ technical and artistic development and now brings this experience and educational approach to China once again.

WHAT MAKES THIS PROGRAM UNIQUE?
The Shanghai Winter Intensive is designed as a coherent training process, with daily classes building on one another throughout the week. Students are grouped according to their technical level and stage of development, enabling teachers to adapt the training to each group and work towards clear learning objectives.
The programme is organised in collaboration with Youth China Grand Prix Association-Hong Kong (HKYCGP), RMB’s official local partner and representative in China.

COURSE DETAILS
Dates: 23–28 January 2027
Age group: Classical ballet students aged 9–18
Duration: 34.5 hours of training
Location: Shanghai, China — venue to be confirmed
Language: Classes are held in English
Schedule: daily intensive training (ballet, pointe technique, repertoire, character dance, gymnastics)

FACULTY OF EXCELLENCE
Classes will be taught by some of the most respected figures in ballet today – current Russian Masters Ballet prestigious faculty teachers including artists of theatres and Vaganova Academy graduate teachers:

Asiya Lukmanova - Director and Founder of Russian Masters Ballet. Former Soloist of the St. Petersburg Ballet Theatre. Classical Ballet Teacher, certified by the Vaganova Ballet Academy. Graduate as a ballet artist of the Rudolf Nureyev Ballet Academy.
Victoria Omelintskaya - Classical Ballet Teacher and current faculty member of the Vaganova Ballet Academy. Former Soloist of the Mariinsky Theatre. Graduate of the Vaganova Ballet Academy as both ballet artist and teacher.
Yan Omelnitsky - Classical Ballet Teacher and current faculty member of the Vaganova Ballet Academy. Former dancer of the Mikhailovsky Theatre. Graduate of the Vaganova Ballet Academy as both ballet artist and teacher.

Admission is subject to prior video selection. Applications and registration are handled by Youth China Grand Prix Association-Hong Kong (HKYCGP).

Applicants should submit their audition video by 20 December 2026. Video selection is free of charge.

During the online audition process, outstanding students may also be considered for scholarship for the Shanghai RMB program.
